A deck of playing cards or a stack of printer paper works perfectly.What you'll need A deck of playing cards, or a stack of printer paper A hard, flat floor (avoid carpet) A ruler StepsStand barefoot on the hard floor.Slide the stack of cards or paper under the heel of your shorter leg.Add or remove cards or paper until you feel level and balanced, with your hips even. Tip: use a mirror or ask a friend to check that your hips and shoulders look level.Once you feel balanced, step off and measure the height of the stack with a ruler.That measurement is your leg length difference. For best accuracy: Run through it two or three times to make sure you land on the same height each time. Measuring the actual stack is more reliable than counting cards, since thickness varies from deck to deck.Not sure about your result? No problem. To achieve the best results, use our insoles with fully enclosed shoes. Before inserting your Roam insoles, remove the original insoles that came with your shoes. If the Roam insoles are too long or wide at the front, you can trim them to the right size. One way to do this is by placing the original insole on top of the Roam insole. We recommend tracing the shape of the original insole onto the bottom of the Roam insole, then carefully cutting along the lines using sharp scissors. It's worth noting that insoles can often be trimmed to fit if they are slightly larger. When you place your order, you can choose between 2 ways to capture your foot impressions: Instant 3D Scan: Scan your foot right away with an iPhone and send it to us immediately. Impression Foam Box: We’ll mail out a foam box to you so you can capture your foot impressions. Once completed, simply send it back to us. As soon as we receive your completed impressions via scan or mail, our team gets to work manufacturing your custom orthotics, and running them through a detailed quality check. You should receive your insoles 7-10 business days from the time we receive impressions.

Foot impressions can be done in 2 different ways: Impression Foam and 3D scanning. Your casting method can be chosen during the ordering process. Both are quite accurate methods that we will use to make insoles that are unique to your exact foot shape. Method 1: We will send you an Impression Foam Box. You will take impressions of your feet by sitting and putting your feet softly into the foam.
